Shreddin' for COPS, April 13th:  In partnership with Doc Shreddin Corp, the Copswalk Team presents "Shreddin' for COPS!"  Identity Theft and Economic Crime are a huge problem today!!  --Don't be a victim-- Bring all of your unneeded documents down to be shredded by a professional and trusted company and support the Copswalk mission at the same time!!  For a donation of $5 per banker-sized box, we can safely dispose of your documentss.  Remember Copswalk is dedicated to helping the families of police officers killed in the line of duty across the country...
Bowl-a-thon, April 14th: Come join us at our new event to honor fallen officers and their families.  $25 tickets will get you three games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and a trophy for the winning team!

Coin Drive (TBD):  Officers will be positioned at the intersection of Cumberland St. and Hamlet Ave., as well as Park Square.  We will be manning a "bucket brigade" and taking donations throughout the morning.

Copswalk Comedy Night, May 3rd:  Come join us at the CYO Center in Woonsocket for what has become the can't-miss local event of the year! This year will feature fantastic comedians (as always). Of course, dinner will be provided by the Burrito Co. As always, we will have great raffles and prizes. All this for only $30! Get your tickets from any of the Walkers.

Copswalk Step-Off, May 9th:  Come see us off or even walk the first leg to the city limits with us. The ceremony starts at 9 am in front of the Woonsocket Police Department!

Arrival in D.C., May 12th:  If all goes well, the Copswalk team plans on arriving in Washington D.C. sometime during the day on May 12th.

Candlelight Vigil, May 13th:  The team will join thousands of officers from around the world at the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial for the Candlelight Vigil. We lost six officers in the line of duty in New England last year.  This year we will be dedicating our walk to Sgt. Maxwell Dorley of the Providence Police Dept. Also lost in 2012 from Massachusetts were Officer Peter Kneeland (Worcester, MA PD), Officer Jose Torres (Westfield PD), Officer Kevin Amrose (Springfield PD) and Deputy Sheriff Ryan Tvelia (Norfolk County SO).  We also lost a hero from New Hampshire, Chief Michael Maloney (Greenland PD) on his last day before retirement.  Having made the ultimate sacrifice in 2012, all six officers will be added to the wall this year.

C.O.P.S. Survivors' Luncheon, May 14th:  The team will attend the Concern's of Police Survivors Luncheon to present a check for this year's effort--hopefully the biggest yet!

Return, May 15th:  With the mission complete, the team returns home to family.
